Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz (226.8 g) of glycerin
  • 3 oz (85.05 g) of honey
  • 3 oz (85.05 g) of distilled water
  • 1 tsp (4.92892 g) of essential oil (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Measure out the glycerin, honey, and distilled water using a digital scale.
  • In a double boiler or a heatproof container set over a pot of simmering water, melt the glycerin.
  • Once the glycerin has melted, add the honey and stir until it has dissolved.
  • Slowly add the distilled water and continue to stir until the mixture is well combined.
  • Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • If desired, add 1 tsp of essential oil and stir in using a stick blender.
  • Pour the mixture into a soap mold and let it cool for 24 hours.
  • Once the soap has cooled, remove it from the mold and it is ready to use.
