Hyaluronic Acid

Is Hyaluronic Acid From Dollar Tree Good?

This post is not sponsored.

I purchased this at my local Dollar Tree and decided I’d give it a try.

Plus I’m all about that affordable skincare junkie life.

So we’ll discuss is Dollar Tree hyaluronic acid good enough for your skin?

I put it to the test today on my own skin!

Is Hyaluronic Acid From Dollar Tree Good?

I have used the Hyaluronic Acid from Dollar Tree and it is a great product.

I use it for my skin and also for my hair. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and I can tell you that my skin is much softer and smoother.

I also noticed that my hair feels much healthier, so I am not sure if this is due to the hyaluronic acid or another ingredient in the product.

However, I will continue to use this product because it has worked well so far!

A Look at the Ingredient List

What’s in this product?

The ingredient list for Dollar Tree Hyaluronic Acid Serum is simple: water, hyaluronic acid, and phenoxyethanol.

What’s not in this product?

There are no added fragrances or dyes, which is good news for sensitive skin types.

How does it work?

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance that helps to keep skin hydrated by holding moisture in the top layers of skin.

When applied topically, it can be absorbed into the skin and help to plump fine lines and wrinkles.

It also works to increase collagen production, which helps promote firmer skin over time.

Is this product safe for all skin types?

Yes, as long as you don’t have an allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients listed above.

If you find that your skin reacts poorly to the serum after using it for a week or two then stop using it immediately and see if the reaction clears up on its own (if not see your doctor).

How It Measures Up to Other Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizers

Hyaluronic acid is a popular ingredient in skin care products because it’s capable of holding 1,000 times its weight in water.

So when you apply it to your skin, it helps retain moisture, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

But not all hyaluronic acid moisturizers are created equal.

Some products use hyaluronic acid that’s made from fermentation (a process called bacterial fermentation or microbial fermentation), while others use synthetic or natural sources.

If a brand claims to use “pure” hyaluronic acid, there’s no guarantee that it actually does; you have to read the label carefully and/or contact customer service for more information about the ingredients.

Dollar Tree’s Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer is one example of a product that uses bacterial fermentation to create its hyaluronic acid.

It’s formulated with sodium hyaluronate, which is the salt form of hyaluronic acid — meaning the molecule has been chemically altered so that it can be dissolved in water and absorbed into skin cells more easily than other forms of hyaluronic acid would be able to do on their own.

Should You Try It Out?

I decided to try the Hyaluronic Acid from Dollar Tree because I have been looking for a serum that would help me with my dry skin.

I have tried many serums, but none of them have worked as well as I had hoped.

I read that hyaluronic acid is great for moisturizing and plumping the skin.

It also helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines in the skin.

I went to my local Dollar Tree store and bought two bottles of the Hyaluronic Acid Serum.

It cost me less than $3 for each bottle!

After using it for a few weeks, my skin feels softer and smoother than ever before.

My husband even noticed how much better my skin looks!

He keeps telling me how beautiful I am!

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to improve their appearance without spending too much money on expensive products like Botox or laser treatments.

Here’s what I found out:

The Good

The Bad

  • The biggest drawback here is that this product doesn’t contain any SPF protection — although you could use it at night if you want extra moisture overnight.
  • The other potential downside is that the ingredients list includes a few potential irritants (although they’re labeled as less than 1 percent each).

Final Thoughts

From the looks of it, the quality of products at dollar stores has improved over time.

The fact that Dollar Tree carries a decent HA cream is likely due to the increasing popularity of this ingredient.
