  • 2 oz. water
  • 1 oz. lye

Instructions
 

  • Measure out the coconut oil and olive oil and melt them together in a mixing bowl.
  • Measure out the lactic acid and water in a separate bowl and mix them together.
  • Measure out the lye and slowly add it to the lactic acid and water mixture, stirring constantly.
  • Carefully pour the lye mixture into the melted oils and stir until the mixture thickens.
  • If desired, add a few drops of essential oils to the mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a soap mold and let it cool and solidify for 24 hours.
  • Remove the soap from the mold and enjoy!
