How can I have pink lips naturally? Pink lips are appealing and attractive to many people.

It is not surprising to find out that most women want pink lips, but many do not know what are the natural ingredients for pink lips.

What are the natural ingredients for pink lips?

There is something lovely about the flush of pink in a woman’s lips. It shows that she is healthy and that her body is functioning well.

There are many ways you can achieve this color naturally.

Here are my top 9 ingredients for pink lips:

1. Red raspberry leaves

The two red pigments found in red raspberries are called delphinidin and petunidin.

They can increase the blood flow to the surface of your lips, which causes them to appear pinker.

How to use

  • Strain out the leaves so that you only have liquid left in the bowl or cup.
  • Allow this mixture to cool off before applying it to your lips.
  • You may also add 1/4 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil to increase absorption into your lips as well as adding a few drops of lemon juice or lime juice if you would like a little zestiness to your lip balm!

2. Strawberry

Strawberries are rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, and folic acid. These antioxidants help protect your skin from free radical damage, which can cause a dull complexion.

Eating lots of strawberries may also give you a sunburned appearance to your lips because they have high concentrations of beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in your body and can give you a yellowish tint to your skin.

How to use

  • After your lips are exfoliated, apply a small amount of lip balm to soften them up again.
  • Next, apply a thin layer of strawberry jam or preserves onto your lips using a finger or lip brush.
  • If you use a finger, be sure to wash it off before doing anything else.
  • Wait 5-10 minutes and then remove the strawberry using a warm, damp washcloth or cloth diaper.

3. Papaya

Papaya contains an enzyme known as papain that breaks down protein and aids in the digestion of proteins in your body.

When applied topically, it can remove dead skin cells from your lips to make them appear pinker and fresher-looking.

How to use

  • Cut the papaya in half and scoop out the inside fleshy part.
  • Rub it on your lips and leave it on for about 10 minutes for it to work its magic. It may look like it’s staining the skin at first but let it sit for a while before rinsing off.
  • Wash off with water and pat dry with a towel or let it air dry with the help of a fan!

4. Salmon roe (eggs)

The eggs from salmon are packed with nutrients and omega-3 fatty acids that help your skin stay soft, hydrated, and smooth.

Natural oils in the egg also add a nice sheen to your lips, making them look moist and full of life.

It is especially effective for dry lips since it contains hyaluronic acid, which helps the skin retain moisture.

How to use

  • Mix one egg yolk with three tablespoons of honey (you can use sugar instead if you don’t have honey).
  • Add one teaspoon of lemon juice or vinegar. Stir well until you get a uniform consistency.
  • Stick your finger in the mixture and apply on clean lips!

5. Ground nutmeg

It contains a substance called myristicin which is also found in other spices such as cinnamon and clove.

This substance makes your lips appear redder as well as helps heal chapped lips.

Plus, the spice itself adds another level of shine to your lips.

How to use

  • Mix ground nutmeg with a bit of petroleum jelly and apply it as a lip balm before bedtime each night.
  • This will help ensure that your lips stay pink throughout the entire next day

6. Rose petals

The antioxidants in rose petals help protect your lips from getting dry or chapped while giving them a gentle flush of color.

How to use

  • Mix together two or three tablespoons of rose petals with two tablespoons of rubbing alcohol, put it into the container, and shake it well to blend everything together.
  • After you have done this, let it sit for at least 24 hours before using it so that the petals become soft and pliable.
  • When you are ready to use your new lip stain, simply dab a little bit of the mixture onto your lips.
  • Rub it in gently with your fingers until it is completely absorbed into your lips.

7. Almond oil

This is one of the most common ingredients in lip balms because not only does it soothe chapped or dry lips, but it’s also high in vitamin E which helps keep your lips moisturized and removes dead skin cells.

So, it doesn’t just add shine to your lips but makes them softer as well.

How to use

  • Before going to bed at night, apply some almond oil on your lips gently with your fingertip.
  • This will keep your lips hydrated all through the night so you wake up with soft, supple, and smooth lips in the morning.

8. Beetroot juice

Beetroots are naturally red in color, so mixing them with lemon juice will result in pinkish-colored lips if left on for some amount of time before rinsing off with water.

How to use

  • Wash and peel the beetroot. You can use fresh or canned beetroot.
  • Peel the skin off the beetroot with a knife or peeler.
  • Grind the beetroot into a paste by using a grinder or food processor.
  • Put the paste in a bowl with enough milk to make it easy to apply to your lips, because it may be too runny otherwise.
  • Apply the milk-beet mixture on your lips, then wash it off when it dries off.

9. Coconut oil

Coconut oil is excellent for your lips because it is loaded with vitamin E.

This is a powerful antioxidant that can help eliminate free radicals in your body, which are known to cause premature aging.

How to use

  • Apply directly to lips using a cotton swab or your fingers.
  • Reapply throughout the day as needed.

How to make your lips pink naturally

I love wearing a bold lip and I have been trying to find ways to make my lips pink naturally.

I have found several ways that don’t involve lipstick.

Some of these will take time but with patience, you can achieve your goal.

Here are my tips on how to make your lips pink naturally.

1. Use an exfoliant

Using an exfoliant regularly can help keep your lips soft and smooth.

This is because the exfoliant will remove dead skin cells from the surface of your lips, which makes them appear smoother.

In addition, when your lips are smooth, they tend to be pink naturally because as blood flows close to the surface of the skin it will give your lips a rosy tint.

2. Moisturize often

When you moisturize regularly you are helping keep your lips hydrated.

Dry lips aren’t really pink at all, so if you want them to be pink, you need to make sure they’re hydrated.

You should always use moisturizer before bed and try to apply whenever possible throughout the day as well.

3. Eat right

Eating right is another way that you can get your lips to show some color naturally.

4. Get enough sleep

If you don’t get enough sleep, your body doesn’t produce enough collagen, which is needed for your lips to look plump and pink.

5. Use a lip scrub or lip mask once a week

This will exfoliate your lips and remove dead skin cells that can make them appear pale and lifeless

 6. Avoid smoking

Avoid smoking or chewing nicotine gum or cigarettes regularly. These cause your mouth to be dry and will lead to chapped lips.

Final Thoughts

To get a rosy look, you can use any one of these ingredients on their own or combine them to work synergistically.

You’re sure to find a combination that works for you and keeps your smile looking great.
