Is Act and Acre clean beauty?

2 Mins read

I’ve been seeing a lot of clean beauty influencers use the Acre and Act brand.

They have some great products for hair, skin, and nails.

So I was surprised when I saw that some people are saying their products contain harmful chemicals!

In this post, we’ll talk about what makes a product clean vs conventional and whether it’s safe to use Act and Acre.

Is Act and Acre clean beauty?

Act and Acre is a clean beauty brand.

Clean beauty means that the products are free from toxic ingredients, so you can use them without worrying about your skin or body.

Act and Acre does not use parabens or other synthetic fragrances in their products, which means they’re also cruelty-free.

They’re also vegan, certified by PETA as such because they don’t test on animals at all (and never will).

Is Act Acre Paraben Free?

Yes, Act Acre products are paraben free. Parabens are preservatives that can be found in many skincare products, including moisturizers, lotions, and makeup.

However, the use of parabens has been linked to reproductive health issues such as breast cancer and infertility.

This research has shown that it’s best not to use products containing parabens if you are trying to conceive or if you have concerns about reproductive health issues such as breast cancer or infertility.

The use of parabens is also linked to endocrine disruption and increased risk of allergies.

Endocrine disruption refers to the way that chemicals can interfere with your body’s hormone system, which controls things like growth, development, metabolism, and sexual function.

Increased risk of allergies refers to the idea that some people are allergic to parabens and their products.

This can lead to reactions like hives, rashes, and even anaphylactic shock.

Parabens are also commonly found in skin care products such as moisturizers, lotions, and makeup.

In addition to being linked to reproductive health issues such as breast cancer, infertility, and endocrine disruption, the use of parabens is also linked to an increased risk of allergies.

Is Act and Acre Natural?

Is Act and Acre organic?

No! This isn’t something they claim to be or market themselves as—but it also doesn’t mean that you should avoid all of their products if you want an organic routine (or vice versa).

Organic certification requires many more steps than just using ingredients derived from plants instead of chemicals.

There are strict rules on how those ingredients are grown, processed, handled, etc., so some brands choose to focus on other aspects of clean beauty instead of going through the certification process (which can take years!).

Does Act and Acre Test on Animals?

Act and Acre is a cruelty-free brand, as it does not test on animals.

The brand does not use animal-derived ingredients or any kind of testing on animals.

However, Act and Acre is not 100% vegan because some of their products do contain honey.

The company is also eco-friendly, using recyclable packaging and glass bottles where possible.

The company uses minimal water to reduce the amount of waste they produce during manufacturing processes.

Final Thoughts

Act and Acre is the perfect example of a clean beauty brand. They have a commitment to using only natural ingredients in their products that are safe for your skin.

This means they avoid parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and other chemicals found in many mainstream cosmetics brands.

In addition to being vegan friendly, Act & Acre also supports animal rights by not testing on animals!
