Raspberry seed oil is known for its high levels of antioxidants and UV protection properties, making it an excellent ingredient for natural sunscreen. This recipe is simple to make and can be used to protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz shea butter
  • 2 oz coconut oil
  • 2 oz raspberry seed oil
  • 1 tsp zinc oxide powder
  • 20 drops of lavender essential oil (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix together the shea butter, coconut oil, and raspberry seed oil.
  • Whisk in the zinc oxide powder until fully combined.
  • Add in the lavender essential oil, if desired.
  • Transfer the mixture to a glass container with a lid and store in a cool, dry place.
  • Use as needed to protect your skin from the sun's rays.

Notes

  • It is important to use zinc oxide powder in this recipe as it is a natural, non-nano mineral sunscreen ingredient.
  • This recipe will have a shelf life of approximately 6 months.
  • Store in a cool, dry place to keep the sunscreen from melting.
 

How to Use

 
  1. Apply a small amount of the sunscreen to your face and body before sun exposure.
  2. Reapply as needed throughout the day, especially after sweating or swimming.
