DIY Sunscreen Remover

Sunscreen is an essential part of any skincare routine, but sometimes it can be difficult to remove all of the buildup from the skin. That's why we've created this DIY sunscreen remover recipe that is both gentle on the skin and effective in removing sunscreen. It's easy to make and can be used on all skin types.

Equipment

  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Jar

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 10 drops of lavender essential oil (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix together the coconut oil, baking soda, and honey.
  • If desired, add in 10 drops of lavender essential oil for added benefits.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a jar and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  • Apply to the face using a cotton pad and gently massage in circular motions to remove sunscreen buildup.
  • Rinse off with warm water and follow up with your regular skincare routine.

Notes

  • This recipe can be stored in a jar for up to 3 months.
  • If you have sensitive skin, reduce the amount of baking soda used.
 

How to Use

 
  1. Apply a small amount of the sunscreen remover to a cotton pad.
  2. Gently massage in circular motions over the face, focusing on areas where sunscreen buildup is present.
  3. Rinse off with warm water and follow up with your regular skincare routine.
