DIY Lactic Acid Mask

Lactic acid is a popular skincare ingredient known for its exfoliating and brightening properties. It's often found in expensive skincare products, but you can easily make your own lactic acid mask at home with just a few simple ingredients. In this blog post, we'll show you how to make a DIY lactic acid mask that will leave your skin looking and feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Equipment

  • Small mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Small jar or container for storing the mask

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • ½ teaspoon of lactic acid powder (can be found at most beauty supply stores or online)

Instructions
 

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the yogurt and honey. Mix until well combined.
  • Slowly add the lactic acid powder to the yogurt and honey mixture, stirring until well combined.
  • Apply the mask to your face and leave on for 15 minutes.
  • Rinse off the mask with warm water and pat dry.

Notes

  • Lactic acid can be drying for some skin types, so make sure to moisturize well after using the mask.
  • Use the mask once a week for best results.
  • If you have sensitive skin, do a patch test before using the mask all over your face.
