DIY Vegetable Glycerin Face Moisturizer

Equipment

  • Small pot
  • Spoon
  • Jar or container

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup vegetable glycerin
  • ¼ cup aloe vera gel
  • 2 tsp. coconut oil
  • 5 drops of your favorite essential oil (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a small pot, combine the vegetable glycerin and aloe vera gel.
  • Heat the mixture on low heat, stirring until well combined.
  • Remove from heat and add in the coconut oil and essential oil (if using). Stir until well combined.
  • Allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes.
  • Transfer the moisturizer to a jar or container and store in a cool, dry place.

Notes

  • You can use any type of container for storing the moisturizer as long as it has a tight-fitting lid.
  • If you prefer a thicker consistency, you can add more coconut oil.
  • You can experiment with different essential oils to find the scent that you like best.
 

How to Use

 
  1. Cleanse your face before applying the moisturizer.
  2. Take a small amount of the moisturizer and gently massage it onto your face and neck.
  3. Use the moisturizer morning and night for best results.
