Equipment

  • Small spray bottle
  • Measuring cups
  • Spoon
  • Funnel (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup distilled water
  • ¼ cup glycerin
  • 5 drops of essential oil (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a measuring cup, mix together the distilled water and glycerin.
  • If using, add in your desired essential oil(s) and stir to combine.
  • Use a funnel (if desired) to pour the mixture into a small spray bottle.
  • Close the spray bottle and shake well to mix the ingredients.
  • Allow the mixture to cool for 5 minutes before using.

Notes

  • Be sure to use distilled water as tap water can contain impurities that can spoil the mist.
  • Glycerin is a humectant, which means it attracts and retains moisture. It is a great ingredient to use in face mists as it helps to keep the skin hydrated.
