A good moisturizer is an essential part of a skincare routine, but store-bought options can be expensive and contain harsh chemicals. This recipe for a coconut oil and glycerin moisturizer is a simple and natural alternative that will leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated.

- ½ cup coconut oil
- ¼ cup glycerin
- ½ tsp. essential oil (optional)
Combine the coconut oil and glycerin in a glass bowl.
Mix the ingredients together using a whisk or fork.
If desired, add 1/2 tsp. of your favorite essential oil for fragrance.
Transfer the mixture to a small jar or container and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to cool and set.
Once the moisturizer has cooled, it is ready to use!
- Store the moisturizer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- This recipe can be doubled or halved as needed.
- Feel free to substitute the coconut oil for another carrier oil of your choice, such as olive or avocado oil.
