Coconut Oil Without Arrowroot Deodorant Recipe

Coconut oil is known for its anti-bacterial properties, making it a perfect ingredient for a natural deodorant. Arrowroot is commonly used as a thickening agent in deodorant recipes but if you want to avoid it, this recipe is perfect for you.

- ¼ cup coconut oil
- ¼ cup baking soda
- ¼ cup cornstarch
- 10-15 drops of essential oils of your choice (optional)
In a double boiler, melt the coconut oil over low heat.
Remove from heat and add the baking soda and cornstarch. Stir well to combine.
If using essential oils, add them to the mixture and stir well.
Pour the mixture into a container and allow it to cool for 30 minutes.
Once cooled, your deodorant is ready to use.
- You can store the deodorant in a container with a lid or in a small glass jar.
- The consistency of the deodorant may become thicker over time, so you may need to stir it before use.
- You can add more baking soda or cornstarch to adjust the consistency if needed.
