DIY Coconut Oil Perfume Recipe

In this blog post, we'll be discussing a simple DIY coconut oil perfume recipe that you can make at home. Equipment

  • 4 oz glass bottle with dropper
  • Small saucepan
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Wooden spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vodka or witch hazel
  • 20-30 drops of essential oil (of your choice)
  • 4 oz glass bottle with dropper

Instructions
 

  • Begin by melting the coconut oil in a small saucepan over low heat.
  • Once melted, remove from heat and add in the vodka or witch hazel. Stir well to combine.
  • Add 20-30 drops of your preferred essential oil and stir well to combine.
  • Pour the mixture into a 4 oz glass bottle with a dropper.
  • Allow the mixture to cool for 24 hours.
  • Once cooled, the perfume is ready to use!

Notes

  • Vodka or witch hazel helps to preserve the fragrance and extends its shelf life.
  • You can use any essential oil of your choice, some popular ones include lavender, lemon, peppermint, rose, and jasmine.
  • The scent of the perfume will become stronger over time.
  • Store the perfume in a cool, dark place to prolong its shelf life.
 

How to Use

 
  1. Apply a small amount of the perfume to your pulse points, such as your wrist and neck.
  2. Reapply as needed throughout the day.
  3. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
